I'm from Australia and was watching a cake show tonight on fox called 'Ace of cakes' and they made a pirateship cake for a bunch of pirates who reenact. They dress, act and talk like them and they have pirate boats and they are the old school pirates u described. The show is set in Baltimore USA I think( may b wrong though) so if u live anywhere near there maybe u can look into it and join them although I'm sure they arnt the only ones who do it, there may be more near u someone.
