Is it normal that I want to be a girl?

  • Aaugh! I wish I could help you. I was a teenager when I realized I had a permanent problem, that I would simply have to deal with sooner or later. It took another 20 years of repression and self-destructive behavior before I finally moved out to Southern California, to find a progressive tolerant community, and finally face the issue and deal with it. I hope your path is shorter, more joyful, and less lonely than mine. I finally got where I needed to go, and I do not regret any of it. But it was far more traumatic than it should need to be. I hope your path is easier than mine was. The destination is wonderful, keep that in mind. :)

    • I really hope so too :)
I love being gay and I really hope I could avoid that self destructive behavior part lol
I'm already comfortable with being honest with my closest friends and it's really helpped ALOT :)
and now I'm thinking about finding a guy or girl that would love me for me.
do you think there could be a girl who would like the real me? ;]

      • I think it depends on the individual, I certainly do not consider myself to be qualified to give relationship advice. I have only ever had intimate relationships with G-girls, although I have had T-girl friends who wanted to go further with me. I have always kept it platonic, but that is just me. But I think for an MtF TG person to have a lasting intimate relationship with a G-girl, she would have to be bisexual.

Love is just hard. I envy people in happy marriages.
