Is it normal that i want the us to go to war with north korea?

Try thinking of it as being potentially horrible for a lot of people instead of it as being interesting.

No it is not normal to want to go to war becuase you think it is fun to watch. This sounds like something a serial killer would say. I just dissected my brother and killed him because I thought it was interesting. No this is in no way normal. SEEK PROFESSIONAL HELP.

Hell fucking no. Yes the United States does have the capacity to annihilate the Korean Peninsula off the map but that would easily cause a domino effect where the North Koreans could fire missiles in the other direction annihilating the West Coast.

Now let's add the Nuclear arsenal of other countries like Iran, Russia, China, India, Pakistan, the United kingdom etc. Now it wouldn't be a localised war like the earlier world wars but potentially spell the end of not only North Korea, but the entire planet.

Anyway North Korea is nothing but rattling it's saber. I believe this entire build up is for the New and rather young leader Kim Jong Um to consolidate his power among the North Korean populous.

It would be interesting, yes. But it would probably also result in thousands if not millions of innocent people dying, including brainwashed North Koreans who have never known even the tiniest amount of freedom. Interesting, but I definitely do not want it to happen. I don't need millions to die to give me something to be interested in.

I mean, I think that someone needs to put them in their place. They keep playing fast and loose, just attacking random S Korea ships and whatnot.

But the reality is we are in debt bad and can't afford another war especially one with N Korea. Let's take care of stuff on the homefront before we worry about what everyone else is doing.

Kim Jong Un (Spell Check on that) is just waving his little prick around. He is trying to show off to his brainwashed nation. He isn't going to do shit, because he knows the US would crush them.

We select half the prisoners from around the world. We do this by asking the prisoners themselves.

We surgically sexually sterilize each selected prisoner.
We surgically implant a GPS device into each prisoner.
They are instructed not to enter the DMZ, cross the border into China, or attempt to cross any sea, in any way.
We give each prisoner a stick, a knife and a short piece of rope. Three days supply of food and water.
We drop them by parachute in the approximate geographical centre of North Korea.
We do not fire a shot, unless we are fired at first.
10,000 per day, until Dear Leader Kim and his militant Generals learn to shut their mouth, stop sabre-rattling and threatening others, as well as complying with UN nuclear regulations.

I really hope it doesn't come to that. U.S. military bases are very close to the DMZ. When my bf was stationed over there, he was told his life expectancy was about 5 minutes if N. Korea decided to attack...they have the 3rd largest army in the world or something like that. Of course the U.S. could handle it, but the cost of human lives would be high.

I actually think it'd be kind of interesting too, but I really hope it doesn't happen, because of the domino effect that could potentially happen if the US is provoked into nuking N. Korea (as other posters have pointed out)
