Is it normal that i want new friends?

Lately I've felt like my friends never talk about anything interesting. Whenever I try talking about more deeper topics they give a basic half assed answer or just change the subject. All we seem to talk about is school, and "what if" situations that just don't appeal to me anymore.
We don't watch the same shows, or share the same interests anymore. But everyone else in my friend group has the same interests so i feel like the odd one out, even though I know they consider me a friend.

I'm realizing that I don't feel the same way I did a year ago. What would you call this feeling?

I'm sorry if this doesnt make any sense.

You grew out of your peer group, it happens. Don't beat yourself up about it, and don't feel guilty. Also try not to get too resentful of your old peer group.

It's normal. It just sounds like your interests have changed and you are growing up. Some people never do.

Don't drop your friends, but yes make new ones.
It's always good to have more friends.
And they may change over time and again be people you would like to have around.

There's no word for this feeling. You simply changed, and your friends didn't. So try finding new friends.
