I can't help but feel like this is the kind of reasoning that led men to kinda screw ladies over in the first place, history-wise.
It's true you guys have definitely been treated in a lot of ways, you've barely scratched the tip of the iceberg (it'll only be a century NEXT YEAR that women are allowed to vote. wrap your mind around that shit). But that's the work of Assholes, not Men. There will always be Assholes. It's just a matter of which ones are more influential.
I'm genuinely sorry, and I think I have a social responsibility to accept what my gender's done, and make up for it when it's called for. But I also know having the same dangly bits as a lot of awful people doesn't necessarily make me a bad person, and I don't feel it's appropriate to judge a person solely on those bits.
Is it normal that I want men to feel what us women have been through?
