You say you would never lead anyone on... But wanting someone to want you when you're not interested, is leading someone on. You just want to be wanted and thats fine but as long as you want that person back. Surely it's more of an attention thing?
Sorry I misread it completely, there is another post simular but I must have got mixed up. Anyway, yeah it would only be leading them on if you got them thinking you liked them when you didn't. But yeah, you're not doing that so I think you're not doing any harm.
