It is totally normal. It's pretty sweet of you wanting to help her. You're really going to be her shining armor, especially cause you have been there before. You can teach her a lot. I feel the same sometimes. Like, I'd rather hang out with people who are more "problematic" than others cause I really like helping them. And that's what you're doing. You want her to get over this phase like you have. And you wanna be there for her =) And how sweeter could this be?
