It's completely normal. Most of us, as females, have the biological need to have a baby.
I am in the same boat as you and I am 20. But don't try for a baby. Trust me, it's better to wait until you are out of school, have some more life experience and have a husband that can support you should you not be able to work.
So many young women have babies and soon realize that it was not worth losing their youth over. Please wait until you are married, out of school and in a good situation. It is difficult to enjoy Motherhood if you are struggling to pay the bills and having to run all over the place for baby sitters because you are called into another shift at an unrewarding and unfulfilling job, as opposed to being in a loving, supporting relationship and being able to care for the child and go to the store and buy EVERYTHING that baby needs as opposed to just what you can afford.
I am a college student and the wait is killing me, I cared for my siblings and I love children and I see so many of these young mothers with children but often unable to enjoy it because they are struggling just to feed them. I hate waiting, and you will too, but just remember that waiting until the right time makes Motherhood much more fulfilling (and easier), assuming all goes well.
Good luck, stay in school, and remember, you have plenty of time!
