  • Do you know any Satanists, or anything about Satanism?

When you compare them, Satan is better than God.

He tried to give knowledge to humanity

    He tried to liberate humanity

    He has killed nobody.

God wanted to keep humans as a little pet experiment

God then killed nearly all of them.

God created every vile parasite and infectious virus and bacteria which results in horrible slow deaths for billions of people, whether they're his followers or not.

Satan only ever wanted man to do his own thing, make his own choices, enjoy a life with deeds that actually have no eternal consequence but can be enjoyed (like same sex relations, or getting rat-arsed) and was framed as a destroyer for it. God maintains a stranglehold on his followers with vague threats about things he refuses to prove, even himself. Meanwhile he gets angry when people touch themselves.

Dude, you're making Satanism sound more attractive, not less.

      • What makes you think he is? Because his scared followers wrote that he was?

Nah, he's just a neurotic minor deity from a pantheon who decided that no other gods should be worshipped. Jah was originally part of a pantheistic Canaanite system.

          you deny this?

you think there is a human being worthy of even being called a God?

lol i dont. as long as you can be shot down in your human flesh, your not worthy of being called a God

          • "he's in charge

            you deny this?"

Yes. I used to be a Christian for over 20 years. Then I realized he didn't exist, because every facet of the idea of the Judeo-Christian God, and the writings about said deity, are fallacious.

"you think there is a human being worthy of even being called a God?"

Nope, never said that. Don't know where you got that from.

              • "don't the moral teachings inside the bible inspire you though?"

They were derived from elsewhere. The only original "morals" of the Bible are in the Old Testament and they are horrifying, frankly.

"regardless, it inspires other people, and that's what counts"

Uhm, not really. If YHWH isn't real, then we can finally acknowledge that humans have created morality by themselves, only using a deity as justification for some of the less reasonable ones.

"and its because your saying satan is better"

I'm saying that if the Judeo-Christian figures were real, then they are all horribly misrepresented. YHWH is a genocidal maniac, Jesus tries to justify and whitewash the Old Testament genocide and slavery, and Satan, who has never killed more than a handful of people (in Job, but even then that was with the permission of YHWH) attempted to liberate humanity from ignorance so that they could have their own destiny.

"do you actually know any serious satanists?"

Yes, a few, do you? They're far more reasonable people and they don't firebomb abortion clinics, try and prevent same sex marriage, or force religion on children in schools, which even the watery C of E attempts.
