Is it normal that I've never had a headache?

  • I’m 28 and have never had a headache except once when I had a really bad sinus infection. I do get hangovers though and they can be crippling after a night of heavy drinking. When I tell people I don’t get headaches they often say “so you’ve never been hungover?" No, you don’t need to have a headache to have a hangover. There are many other ways to feel like garbage. I have always wondered if there was something wrong with me. Like what if I have a brain tumor inhibiting the reception of pain that occurs in my head or face? I mean I feel pain in my head or face when there is a trauma or some other obvious reason for pain. I feel all other types of pain to a normal degree. I may have a higher pain tolerance than some people but not outside the normal range. Guess I'm just lucky? Not normal, but lucky.
