Is it normal that i've never eaten a hamburger

I think it's unusual if you live in America, but not necessarily weird or anything like that.
I'm curious, have you not had the opportunity, don't like certain ingredients, or just haven't really gotten around to it?
I actually thought I disliked burgers for a long time because the only kind I had had was McDonald's when I was a kid, until I tried one at a "gourmet" burger place when I was 17 or 18. I hadn't really eaten one since childhood and was telling my classmates about the experience, to which they said it was "un-American" to have not eaten a burger in so long, or to have only eaten McDonald's burgers, lol!
I'm the same way, it is usually pretty hard to get me to try something new when I have something I already know I really like, unless I am tired of it or simply craving something different. It seems like if I stray from the norm, sometimes I will be disappointed and wish I ordered my regular, lol!
