Is it normal that i've fallen for someone who sees me as a lil sis?

My story? I've been close friends with this guy for 6 years now. He's my best friend and the only one who's ever stuck around. Up until this past year, I've viewed him as an older brother. And he's always seen me as his "little sis". Well, yay for me... because I've fallen for him and I'm pretty positive he'll never see me that way. Is it normal? And what should I do? It hurts so much not being able to tell him.

"Lil sis?" Consider your self friend-zoned.

Before anyone can TRUTHFULLY respond to your question, we need to know if you're:

    A) Over 18.
    B) Are you HOT?

Try giving some hints and if he's still not getting it, just be straight with him. Hey, it works in the movies.

that stuff happens all the time, the young girl that had a crush on me when we were younger, im the one chasing after her now although she's only 3 years younger than me

I went through this, and although he was attracted to me he didn't think it would work and I eventually realised he was right. In the end I had to just move on and accept I was lucky to have what I do. We still have an amazing brother/sister friendship that I wouldn't change for the world :)

This is the exact same thing I'm going through. I don't know what to do about it either

I'm 18. Not over. And well, if I said I was hot then I'd be conceited. So... I guess that can't be answered by me. LOL.

  • Because you are good friends & very close that you can find a way of gently sharing your feelings is a pretty good bet. Tell how difficult this is to talk about because you are a bit confused and don't want to in any way loose what you have.

I also wonder if he hasn't already begun to sense somethings up - and some of your angst about this. Might be better to clear the air - without scaring him away.

I guarantee you 100% that he would take sex over having a platonic relationship. Whether he will want anything deeper is tricky

Well things like this happen all the time but you really have to make sure you love him cause you might just be getting your feelings mixed up...
