A lot of places we sail are the playgrounds for the rich and famous. Their mansions little the Caribbean islands and every time I see one they make me shiver.
Who needs THAT much space in a home? 20 30 40 rooms. For what?
My home is 53' long, 15 feet wide, with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a kitchen and a living room and an engine room. Maybe 425 square feet, but since the furniture is built in, it's quite a bit smaller in reality.
That's plenty for us. So I can relate to your shack, size wise, though cabin (a cozier term IMO) would be my description. Anything much bigger is just a waste of building materials to me.
A cabin or cottage would also be lovely. I wouldn't mind one spacious room for dancing and other activities, but I find a strange comfort in clutter. Some types of clutter.
IIN that I've always wanted to live in a shack?
