Sure, not all guys, but most, and especially the younger ones. I agree that if you're plan is to stay with a person for the duration of your life you should be completely honest. Then, if there's an incompatibility you can either work around it, or end the relationship and begin the search anew. But if you're not decided on trying to stay with them forever, and I would highly discourage anyone in their 20's to stay with the first person they have ever had sex with, unless you know you've got exactly what you want, and how can one know that if you haven't tried the other things that are out there?
Sophisticated people, with a lot of sexual experience can often not have their relationships withstand such wants/needs as the OP has stated. It's not every couple that can even handle the idea of threesomes, and many that think they can find out in retrospect that it was a bad idea for them. Being so young and inexperienced, I honestly think she should either cut the current bf loose (if that's a moral imperative), or just go try out her fantasy without him knowing. She said it's a bucket list item, so it pretty much has to be done, one way or another.
