I forget to eat when I'm at a convention, or at work, or reading/writing something I've really immersed myself in. Which is usually all the time. I really only eat on my days off when I have nothing more important to do. As far as not really being able to keep much down by dinner, it's likely because your stomach has been shrinking all day, and by eating more than a fistful of food, you're stretching it past its limits. It's totally normal, it's just not healthy.
