I work at a kennel and we always play the radio nice and softly for when we close and leave for the night, I imagine it calms them because the few times I come by after 8 or so to check on an elderly animal that's not doin too good everythings nice and silent.
IIN that I turn the radio on for my dog when she'll be alone all day?
