I think the key is not stressing over lack of sleep as this will just make it worse. When I can't sleep I tell myself that this happens to other people too, its not just you. And it also helps that I just simply accept the fact that I will fall asleep whenever I fall asleep and theres nothing that i can do to change that. It also helps to be thankful that I even have a bed and a place a time to sleep, helps me not to feel sorry for myself.
