If I break up with someone I always at least TRY to be friends with them at least. If it doesn't work oh well; if the circumstances were too great for us to try and be friend then I won't, but I at least try and keep intact the friendship. I'm almost friends with all my exs. I don't really see what's the problem with it if anyone else has one. They were friends before, why can't they be friends after? I say it's normal.
