It's weird to think of ourselves as temporal beings, but I viciously disagree with the idea that a person's mind is concrete. Our language frames the issue quite nicely - our pronouns hide the fact that we have hardly a clue what "I" or "you" really means.
"I" am not my self in the present; "I" is defined by the day "I" am born until the day "I" am dead. We just happen to be at one point on that trajectory.
Is it normal that I think this?
