It has deffinately gotten better. How you will perceive the world is mostly based on the people who surround you. I live in Holland, where there are alot of fucked up people ( like everywhere ), but i am surrounded by awesome people that i love to be with. Through those people i connect with more awesome people. The key is to not give up when you can't seem to find good people. Don't just turn to bad people, just keep looking. There is millions maybe billions of good people to meet. Think about it: If you met 100 new people EVERY day for 80 years, you would only know 1/3500 people in the world ! Just imagine how many awesome people are out there :)
