You wake up and look out into the world as a new born child. You have partial memory of your past life but no control of your new body and no way to communicate. Bad thing is, as you grow into your new body you also forget more and more about your past life. Before the first few months the memory of your past life is all but gone as you settle into your new life....again, and again, and again, and again.....
Some people are able to vaguely remember their past life, others remember it vividly. Biology just keeps recycling itself and the energy that creates the human spirit leaves dead biology and re-inhabits new biology. Where does this energy go? Look up the Schumann resonances.
Human bodies like all biological 'stuff' lives and dies. It gets recycled by nature...or has the potential too. For example dead animal being eaten by birds blah blah blah.
Energy on the other hand can not be created or destroyed, this is the Law of Conservation of Energy...Look it up.
If YOU are your physical body so if you loose an arm or a leg or both you become less and less and will die. But the fact is YOU can loose both arms and both legs and more and still not actually loose YOU. You/We are not our physical bodies but the energy life force within it. We can not be destroyed, we shed our bodies after it dies and find our way back into some other biological thing.
If that were true the earths population would not be able to exceed a certain number, like(3) people. Until someone dies a new person could not be born. New life happens far far more every day than death. So that logic makes less and less sense any time a person is born.
They do studies all the time that prove false memories can be planted into peoples head to have "memories" of past experiences even though they were completely fabricated by the researchers. Yet the subjects are 100% convinced it was real, true and accurate. For example Hypnosis has been proven to plant ideas not extract past occurrences.
Is it normal that I think the world doesn't exist?

So do they die after they wake up? What if they are asleep forever? Will they ever die?

You just said there is no thing, so humans can not die, which would make them immortal. Would you make up your fucking mind?
