Is it normal that i think the usa is moving in a fascist direction?

I am afraid the US is moving in a fascist direction. We have ObamaCare forcing people to buy products from private corporations. The corporations have already locked in protectionist measures from the Federal government: e.g. big pharma locking out competition from medical marijuana. We have hidden/or direct subsidies for big pharma (medicare part D), oil companies, the defense-industrial complex, the prison-industrial complex (from the drug war), aggra business (farm subsidies), bank bailouts, and auto bailouts. In a post-Citizens United world (plus the precedent set by ObamaCare) who knows where this will lead.

Additionally, the US Federal government is the only government in the world that thinks its citizens owe tax revenue to the government regardless of where they live and work. Even if you move all the way to Australia you still have to support this gravy train to the corporations. The US started rejecting passports to citizens with back child support. Now they want to extend this to back taxes. How long will the list of passport rejection criterion grow? Clearly, the government thinks the right to leave the country is a privilege not right (much like the Soviet union and other oppressive regimes).

This makes me worried the government might try to hinder Americans from leaving the country if it is not perceived to be in the “national interest.” They already make Americans pay tons of tax into medicare, and then tell them tough luck if they want to retire abroad. Therefore, I think it would be prudent for all Americans to acquire a second nationality if they can. It will only get harder to leave. If you are pregnant, then you should seriously consider heading over the border into Canada to give birth. At least then your child can get a Canadian passport and will have an "escape hatch" to leave the country when the "s**t hits the fan".
