    No. Reason overpowered death when I realized how important life is...no matter how much I deny it.

    When my sons locked eyes with me as they defied reason, when I hold my little girl who's depending on a masculine figure for a roll model, when I play catch with them, and when my oldest wonders how the fuck he's going to make it through college... It dawned on me...life is bigger than me. How arrogant could I possibly be to question this gift, and threaten to extinguish it? It's not about me. It's about the gift of "me" that's been given to others...however flawed.

    Life is bigger than you. It's bigger than me. We're here for a reason... regardless of weather you or I want to admit it.

      You're talking about suicide now, I was talking about involuntary death. We are on different pages here.

        I know...I thought about that after I posted it. Sorry.

        There have been a lot of suicide posts recently, and when I went back through my notifications, I didn't look deep enough and was already in that mode.
