Is it normal that i think some black people are racist to whites?

I am a little offended when some (note i said some) black people go on and on about how whites are racist. In a way black people who feel that way are being racist towards whites for assuming we all are. I can assure you although I'm from Alabama I am by no means racist. But apparently my ancestors were all slave beatin' rebels and now I owe every black person in America an apology. First off my ancestors were Irish/Native American and didn't have much money, let alone a slave. Even if they did, I would owe the generation that lives over 150 years later nothing. I have black friends that agree with me on this. Is it normal...or wrong for me to feel this way?

    I think it's normal. Racist behavior can go both ways. All cultures/ethnic groups are capable of being racist.

    We have reached the tipping point: Women are just about equal to men, but they demand more rights, and few (young) people are racist to blacks, but (some) blacks still get offended way too easily. "black" is not a hateful term.

    ikr! It's not a big deal if a black person makes a racist comment about whites, but if a white guy makes a racist comment about a black guy people act like the world's gonna end!

      Yes, it's more socially acceptable for a black person to make racist comments than it is for a white person.

    Of course it is normal and you are being observant! In my own experience, blacks are far more openly racist than any other ethnic group, at least in the U.S. Al Sharpton is a virulent racist - if he were white, he'd be considered the equivalent of a KKK grand wizard!

    Yes, it's normal. Often times, minorities are racist and they don't get called out on it, merely because they're minorities. Racism can affect anyone. Just because I'm white doesn't mean I've lynched anyone, or bombed anyone, or anything like that. Just because my ancestors may have done some of that doesn't mean that I owe anyone an apology. No one has to be judged by what their predecessors did.

    Is it normal to think that most (not I said most and not all) white people are racist towards people of other colors? They're just much more politically correct these days.

    Oh I've got white friends so I'm allowed to say that cause it's true.

    I agree with you. I'm not racist at all, but I think that some blacks and Latinos especially are way more racist than white people are nowadays. I mean, a lot of them when they get angry with a white person ALWAYS pop the race card. I mean, I have nothing against other races, but I've noticed that.

    When peoples lives aren't the way they want it to be, they blame others for it when really the reason is they're too damn lazy to change it. They can't take responsibility for their life. They blame their parents, they blame a specific group of people, they blame everything but themselves.

    some blacks r but im white and i have at least 50 black friends i smoke alot of weed with them so most blacks aren't racist nigga
