Honestly you've offered nothing better. It's entertaining to sink to the same level as a troll. I get the same thing out of flinging childish insults that you get out of being abrasive, judgmental, and flagrantly opinionated. It's sort of a "give and get in return" thing.
Read a few comments on both sides, but I'd have to say that smoking does make you less intelligent. I'd guess that I'm around 10 IQ points less when I'm smoking (after around a week of smoking every day).
It also reduces my ability to concentrate, and my ability to concentrate at a stretch, since nicontine withdrawal starts around 25 minutes of having a cigarette.
I try not to make long-term decisions when I'm smoking and don't smoke when I have to be at my best (work or personal events).
If a couple of kids see this post by the OP and don't smoke or smoke less I'd say that it's worth it to have posted this.
I have to agree with you. We grew up poor yet both my parents chain smoked. My dad died this day last year from cancer. Looking back, there was no money for any 'extras' but they never went without cigarettes - which seems stupid now to me looking back.
As children, we were always in trouble at school coz our uniforms were stinking of smoke and we were accused of smoking on the bus - but it was in our own home. So far no one has mentioned the dangers from secondary smoking.
But I definitely think, that knowing the dangers nowadays as we do, it is silly to start a habit you may not be able to break so easily.
Is it normal that I think people who smoke are mentally inferior?

Facts? Where precisely? Smoking doesn't make people stupid. Intelligence is not linked to a lifestyle choice.
I could say wearing blue makes people stupid, it's as illogical as the crap you're spouting.

You're missing my point again. I contend that it MEANS they are stupid.

It is not a fact that smoking is expensive for your average person and extremely harmful to the human body?

Oh yes, I forgot. Smoking around children endangers their health even worse than one's own.
