I think it's normal. Plenty of people going out with ugly people and many of them aren't blind.
The same people who are bitching at you on this thread would probably bitch at somebody who says they won't go out with someone because of looks. Well, guess what, you have been the bigger man and are going out with someone despite of looks; cuddos!
I think it really depends on how looks are important to you, but you may very well learn to love that ugly broad. You never know I guess.
