She does not expect you to do a bad job cleaning up, she expects you to work quickly and efficiently and still do a good job. People don't understand the concept of working fast and doing a good job. There is no reason to take 20 seconds straightening something when you can do it in 10 seconds by moving a little more quickly. It is up to you to catch on and do a good job, and any good retail manager is not going to put up with someone that does not try to make an impression.
As for wearing closed toed shoes, not handing out matches and not keeping change, that is what she asked you to do, so do it. It does not matter if others don't do it; this is your job and you are putting it on the line by being upset about following some rules.
