Is it normal that i think men like this are pathetic?
I'm probably gonna face the wrath of a bunch of angry is it normal users... but this has been on my mind for a while.
Here's the backstory: to my shame, I watch some reality tv. This one in particular (which shall remain nameless) I've become addicted to, and I know I shouldn't because it's God awful and the people on it are pure evil. One of the husbands of one of the castmates in particular drives me completely insane.
He likes to think of himself as a macho male and a tough guy; he thinks he's attractive and one of the greatest people to ever exist. Here's the thing: he loves to be around the camera. It's completely obvious that he loves the camera, and he loves the attention (On many occasions, he's been shown teasing other gay men on the show, even though he's married and throws himself on his wife any chance he gets... like having sex with her in the bathroom when the cameras are still on). He's catty, easily offended, manipulative, and loves to show off.
What I'm trying to say is that he acts a lot like a woman. Like a petty, pathetic woman. When a man gets so attention-needy and whiny like this guy is... I just find it so completely pathetic. That's the stereotype for WOMEN. The stereotype is that WOMEN crave the attention and need other people to tell them how hot and attractive they are. It's WOMEN that gossip, manipulate others to make themselves look like the victims, and shows off to the camera on how wonderful their life is, how rich they are, and how perfect as they are as people.
When I see a man act like that, I find it completely pathetic.
This is the gender that's ruled the world for thousands of years. This is the gender that's supposed to be the "superior" one. So when I see someone of the "superior" gender have all the traits that give women a bad name, and start ACTING like a sad woman with no life, I feel nothing but disgust and annoyance. I find attention-needy men completely pathetic.
