Do you mean alcoholics or people who simply occasionally have a drink? I've had a few drinks in my life but it has never caused a problem or made me do something I later regretted. A small amount of alcohol does not turn people into nympho group sex freaks.
People who drink to get drunk; those are your problem makers.
