Back in high school the boys schools' entertainment wing would organize themed annual dance event with a sister school. One of the activities at those events was to pick what we termed as 'A Number Mate', you'd pick a random rolled little piece of paper with a number written on the inside of, the girl in possession of a similar paper with the same number would become your 'date'. You'd then have a get-to-know-each-moment where you'd definitely give her your personal info that she'd use to address her letter to you back at her school.. that is if she was interested, which was often the case. In signing off the message in the letter the norm was to dedicate a few songs to your 'Number Mate', two to four songs usually. Boy bands like Backstreet Boys, Westlife, Nsync, and Boyzone always dominated.
IIN That I think K-pop fans are the worst kind of musical fanbase?

Teenage girls have a horrible taste in music, apparently, and always had, it seems.
