Is it normal that i think it's cute when a young child swears?

I have always thought that young children (preteen and younger) who use swear words are cute doing so? I let my own kids swear and I always will. Those are only words, and it's time that we stop "criminalizing" it when kids swear. Let them express themselves as they see fit, including with cuss words!

    I think it's horrid and a reflection of the parents lack of decency but to each their own.

      my parents didn’t curse that much around me but i still cursed ALOT in my preteens. In my opinion it really depends on where you live & the people you have out with. i grew up in a more ghetto area of the city i lived in so i mostly picked it up in school.

    I think it's pretty cringey. However, I cussed as a younger kid, just not openly in front of people or while talking to them.

    Me and my siblings used to swear a lot when we were kids, our parents didn't mind. I don't swear half as much now.

      You should! Studies have shown it's actually GOOD to swear! It's also good for kids!

      A cockatoo cursed up a storm at me once. I replied, "I must compliment you on your fucking dirty talk." It then said, "Fuck, fuck, asshole." 😃 Mmmmm, truly a great moment in animal-human relations.

          I agree. That's why I complimented him. Most women are very nice, as well. I give them the same compliment for talking dirty, but only in bed, of course.
