Is it normal that I think I think more than others?

  • If you think that people are naive for believing in God, then you should try reading some philosophers' works. Plato, Socrates, Aristotle, Dawkins, Kant, Aquinas, Paley and Hare are just a few philosophers with important ideas.
It's not about 'evidence', it's about logic, premises and ensuing thought processes. It can be about looking at attributes of God and deciding, using good reasoning, whether you think that they apply to God or not. Eg. if God is all-knowing and has divine providence then surely humans don't have free will? - just because God knows the actions we will take it does not mean that he controls them or makes the actions or decides why for us.
(Existence is not an attribute btw :P)
I'm sorry, I'm assuming you don't know much about philosophy, but it's just that thing about 'evidence' that you said that made me think so. I'm sure a logical person will have already looked at the many arguments for the existence of God before denying Him :D
