Well it sounds like you are feeling apathetic, so it would not be unusual for you to read about sociopathic behaviors and identify with more than a few BUT you are not indifferent to your past behaviors and are probably being a bit selective in weighing the good vs. the bad.
You could be somewhat depressed. There are psychiatrists, whose job is to practice psychiatric medicine, psychologist who work with mental health disorders and family counseling & there are professionals who strictly practice counseling. If you are serious about seeking professional help, then you seem to fit into the counseling session variety. It is not such a big deal to get some counseling. The church has filled this role for many, for a very long time.
It might surprise you to know that the Dutch, who are considered to be the most happy and satisfied people in western civilization, are huge consumers of counseling.
