Yeah, I found it weird why people think so highly of him (no pun intended), he's an abusive father.
God is all knowing, right? He knows what happens before they happen. Yet, he created Lucifer. He made him to be perfect in everyway. Lucifer has freewill, as I assume in the stories all angels do given Lucifer's angels also rebelled. So he made this being perfect in every way, gives it free will...Then he makes lesser beings, demands all angels, including Lucifer, the perfect being, to pretty much bow down to the lesser beings. God, being all knowing, must of known he would do this, and in response of rebelling, war breaks out. Lucifer is basically fighting for his free will. He loses, and as a response God creates hell, a pit of everlasting suffering. He casts Lucifer's angels in to the pit and casts Lucifer from paradise for fighting for his freewill and choices that are justified due to how God made him...He punishes his son for making his own choice based upon his perfection which God knew he would do and didn't respect his son's choice.
Just makes no sense to me. If Lucifer was real, he is more so a damaged child than what has been explained.
