My dad was a surgeon, mending broken people and giving them back their lives, with very skillful hands.
As he aged, he got some sort of palsy that for the last ten years of his life left this remarkable man unable to feed himself, dress himself, hold a book or do any of the simple tasks most of us do hundreds of times daily.
Any other disease, ANYTHING ELSE. If there is a God, how could he allow this man to have something that incapacitated the tools that saved so many? If there is a God, he is a horrible, cruel, unloving God, certainly not worth the love and affection so many hold for him. He is a foul, evil creature, no better than the devil.
