What concerns me about "real people" on commercials is that the sponsors think viewers believe the actors are real. It's useless to say, "How dumb do they think we are....?" because most people are pretty goddamn dumb. Even bad professional acting is obviously professional. It's really a pet peeve to care, but you're absolutely normal.
