IIN that I think dog people are less accepting than cat people?

  • Totally notice this too! It kinda bothers me. Sometimes I feel like people who hate cats are somehow inferior emotionally/mentally. It's like they can only be in a relationship with an animal if he/she is completely subservient to you and doesn't require more respect and attention to their more sensitive needs. I love both dogs and cats, and am even a "dominate/dominating" man, but I still love cats and respect them. Cats seem to have a regal quality, like they are aristocrats/very noble, whereas dogs seem to have a different kind of nobility, a kind of loyal comradeship, like comrades in war.
