Is it normal that i think dinosaurs are still alive, just in hiding?

I use to look out of the back window at my Grandmother's house and swear I'd see a velociraptor poke it's head out of the woods. I get scared to walk outside at night because I can't see as well...a dinosaur might attack. And it's not just velociraptors, either. It's a lot of others. :\

I feel like they are alive, just in WAY fewer numbers and in hiding. I know that they have ancestors that are alive today, and I'm not talking about those.

Is it normal?

    If they are, they've been leading one EPIC game of hide and go seek. No ones found them alive in a few million years. :P

    It is possible. They're probably hiding in uncharted forests. The dinosaurs are either really epic and smart hiders OR they just hide out of fear of being killed. They are also probably deformed abit from inbreeding so they may also be too weak to wander out into the open. They dont want to be killed by predators.

    ive been saying this for years and people think im crazy!! theres a lot on this eath we havent discovered and who says we just havent found the last exsisting one.

    I believe it is extremely possible, we as humans tend to imagine that we know most things about wildlife, however we are proven wrong at every turn, just a few years ago we discovered a WHALE we had never even known about, if we can miss something as big as a whale then we should seriously allow ourselves to be more open minded, I'm not saying dinosaurs are still out there for sure but hey, Crocodiles made it this long, what's to say we wont find a dinosaur somewhere in the future.

    Yep, they are in hiding. Most velociraptors have a fear of old people so maybe that's why you only see them 'poke' their head up once in a while. Next time, get some reeses pieces and make a trail leading into your garage. Velociraptors love reeses.

    Yep my dad brought them to life on a secret island. We fly them to different places to get them used to people.
