Is it normal that i think being infertile would be a blessing?

I used to want children. Nowadays, id rather just be single. This world makes me fucking sick and having kids would just expose them to it too.

Sure if you don't want kids and you never ever will.

Why not simply date a man who doesn't want kids either?

I thought I was- I was a little slut, NEVER used birth control and never got pregnant. Then- when I turned 36- I did. I have a wonderful son!!
Never had another.

It's a nice thought to not ever have to worry about accidental pregnancy, but would I rather be able to bear kids and *choose* whether or not to have them vs not being able to have them ever? Of course. I think it's definitely a case of 'the grass is greener' on either side; some saying they would never have to sweat protection/etc (assuming no STIs are involved), while myself, would give anything to have a potential future pregnancy and kids without looking to adopt.
