Being gay does make you a minority but it doesn't make you any more flawed than I am for being one of the minority with green eyes.
I understand how you feel, though, because it does sometimes seem that our whole existence is about reproduction. There's nothing stopping you reproducing, by the way. It'd just be a less conventional set-up.
Perhaps if you divorce your sexuality from your gender (however difficult that might be), you'd see it differently. You are a human male who has reproductive capabilities the same as most human males. But you just happen to be gay as well.
Is it normal that I think being gay is a flaw and hate myself?
