    anal sex actually damages the anal cavity. although some people engage in that activity, our bodies aren't made for that.

      No it does not, not at all if done correctly. If you use lube and go slowly enough with warmup beforehand that it doesn't hurt, there are no negative side effects of anal sex, just more pleasure than you can get from vaginal.
