Depending on how old you are, I'd steer towards it being not normal. Only because if you're say, late 20s or in your 30s, you should be use to men wanting to try anal.
If it grosses you out then you're still young to the subject. You don't have to find it appealing, but for it to outright repulse you is a tad much.
