Is it normal that i think about death when i'm walking alone?

Most days now when I'm walking home from college, I have my headphones in and in my head i have like a story or whatever you want to call it. Today it was about my dad being in a house fire and i ran of the bus to see and i drop my stuff and run in, then my ex who I broke up with 2 months ago turns up and his dad saves our lifes. Is this normal because I'm a bit scared and I can't talk to anyone about it.

Take the headphones out and be more aware of your surroundings.

Not only are you day dreaming but subconsciously you are afraid of being attacked. So stay alert to any real danger of mugging etc.

it's really is normal. when you put your headphones on you go into your own world and start imagining things the music fuels the situation, it could be anything and yours is what it is this dramatic situation where the guy you were with who you probably admire/admired saves the day, it's actually like a movie scene or a music video. relax and maybe try to imagine something else random and less serious

Sometimes when you're alone and you don't have anything to occupy your thoughts, like when you're walking, your mind just wanders to serious things. Those kind of what ifs have crossed my mind as well. For me it's not explicitly connected with walking though.
