    you should check out The Salvation Army

    They're Christian and ALMOST EVERYTHING they do is to help people in trouble.

    They REALLY practice what they preach. Nothing fancy for their leaders - - just giving out food and clothes wherever it's needed.

      Seconded and they don't extort money from people either. The SA really does help the needy.
      So what happens to all the money that the big churches make? Nowadays churches are big businesses.
