The people that wrote the constitution also advocated for citizens owning canons. They wanted citizens to own any weapon the military had. Because the constitution wasnt for hunting it was to protect American citizens from the American government. There's a famous saying that Mao once said "political power comes down the barrel of a gun". And that's so true. Whoever has the guns has the power. Every dictator takes the guns before the genocide hitler, mao, pol pot, and stalin ALL took the guns before mass executions. Because without guns there's no chance of a revolution (or even a threat of one).
In all honesty, I'm just trying to punish gun owners, as I perceive many of them to be extremely unkind people. Yes, I know the second amendment is supposed to protect us from the worst abuses of power imaginable, but the only thing I hate more than oppressive cops are vigilantes.
