The real reason why I’ve been single my whole life is due to social awkwardness and Asperger’s but I say that I’m a Christian in order not to come off as pathetic. Thoughts?
I honestly don't think you need to tell anyone that you are a virgin, it's none of their business whether you are a virgin, or not. You also don't owe anyone an excuse, or explanation as to why you are still a virgin. You can choose to tell people that you are a virgin, because you are a person with Asperger's, or because you are a Christian, but it's also your right to not tell the person anything, because this is your private business, and you don't owe anyone an explanation! There's nothing wrong with being a person with Asperger's, and there's nothing wrong with being a Christian either, but please know that you don't owe anyone anything, and you have the right to tell other people that you do not wish to answer personal questions. I guess I just really want to stress that you have a right to your privacy. I don't know much about Autism, or Asperger's, but my heart goes out to you, and I'm concerned, because I think you have a right to your privacy, and I'm worried that you might be vulnerable to people prying too much.

Using religion as an excuse is much more pathetic than just saying you have aspergers. I even find using aspergers as a lame excuse.
Why is it ok for black people to use race as an excuse to get govt. assistance? If a black guy complained that police are racist rather than admit he was aggressive, would you consider that an excuse?

I am sick and tired of ignorance towards people with autism. We actually have 1000x more challenges today than you litelander8 will have. First off, no black person ever has used their race to get government assistance. It's not part of the criteria at all, in any state or province in any of the countries in North America.
Secondly, you talk as though you think autism is something that only happens to people you think are "like you". There are lots of Black and Asian and gay people who have autism. This is not black people vs autistic people. There are plenty of people who have to deal with both anti-autistic stigma and stigma based on race, gender, sexuality, etc.
I personally feel OJ Simpson murdered his wife but I also acknowledge that my personal opinion on this is super worthless, and it sounds like you should too. I agree with you up until you bring up autism is harder for people. About 1 in 59 people have Autism Spectrum Disorder in the United States. That's too many people, in my opinion, to be considered a valid excuse to do most things especially when you consider how many people on the spectrum go on to do great things.

I'm socially awkward too and most of the time yeah I don't know what to talk about, but I still have friends who I do talk to regularly. Force yourself into those positions if you have to, but stop using Aspergers as an excuse otherwise you will never find a relationship.
I think religion shouldn't be an excuse for you to say that you're virgin. You should be honest and nowadays I don't think anyone will believe that someone is virgin because of religious reasons? Also I think it is not anybody's business if you're a virgin or not.
It's normal as it's implied that you believe it's normal, and as I imply what I'm directly telling you now: that it's to the degree that it coheres to other things Christian, so yes it's normal to be a Christian virgin and it's normal to be Christian and tell people that. :) And it's also normal to be a hypocritical Christian and tell people you're a virgin. You have a place in heaven, and this alone is a step towards sainthood.

I have Asperger’s, first of all. How on earth can I make it past a first date with a girl after she asks why I’m a Virgin at 25? If I’m so awkward, how can I “get laid”? You’re not listening, it’s obvious but I’m pointing out that in details.

Seriousy though, whether or not your a virgin rarely comes up on a first date. If she asks you straight up, say something vague that keeps her guessing. Even if she finds out, very few girls will leave once they find out your a virgin. Some girls even see virgin guys as better. Stop using that as an excuse. It's very self defeating to say "I can't get a girl because I'm virgin and she won't like that!" Think about it buddy, nobody would ever get laid if people only fucked guys who weren't virgins.
