Alcohol doesn't make you tell the truth. Just like it doesn't make you cheat or have sex. Does it impair your judgement? Yes. But it doesn't destroy it. You are perfectly capable of keeping your secrets to yourself and keeping your dick in your pants. What it does, is it just makes it easier to tell your secrets.
When I get drunk, I want to tell all of my secrets and tell people what I really think of them. But I get a hold of myself and control the urges.
