Is it normal that i talk outloud when no one's there?

I find myself talking out loud in many instances when I'm alone. I talk things through, air grievances, and I speak my opinion out loud when doing something like watching television. I should express that I don't talk to imaginary people, or act out responses in a different voices. I just like to express my thoughts out loud, mainly because I think journals are for pussy's. Is it normal?

  • All the time, but I can't really do it in a mirror like princessxox mentioned doing--feels weird to me. I like to watch the history channel and the science channel and contest or agree out loud with what I'm hearing. I write too sometimes...I guess some of the best things ever written throughout history were written by pussys :P

  • It better be normal, or else you and me (and all these other people, apparently) are all in the weirdo boat together.

    :-)

  • I do that, too. Sometimes someone on TV will say something funny and I'll just laugh and comment on it, or when I happen to flip through the channels and get to CNN or something and they are debating over some topic, I just find myself arguing with them and having my own debate.
