I don't think it's normal for you to strongly hate people who use drugs.
It's seriously a waste of time lol. Why are you worried about people who like to be in an altered state of consciousness? It's their business what they do with their time as long as they're not hurting anybody.
Worry about something more important like your own personal advancement and just avoid those people. If you can't don't get mad about it they just have different interests than you.
