What people do with their bodies is their business.
You see, libertarianism is indeed the answer; not only because it puts high priority on individual freedom but because by doing so it naturally promotes what could be called a socially Darwinist process. In other words, if you hate druggies so much, you should support their right to do drugs; a fatal OD is always just a hit away.
As for people like us, Straight Edge is the only way.
